Zach recently graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Colorado State University. During his time at Colorado State, Zach was a member of the Miyake lab. Throughout the course of his research, Zach focused on utilizing organic photochemistry to facilitate chemical transformations in more efficient and environmentally friendly ways. This experience in the Miyake lab resulted in a publication, as well as the development of critical research skills.
As a Research Scientist at New Iridium, Zach seeks to continue organic photoredox catalysis research in the development of more efficient manufacturing methodologies for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. He is very excited to be a part of the New Iridium Team.
